p8121 Posted December 17, 2003 Author Report Posted December 17, 2003 Did you remove the slides in the carbs - they might be in backwards ( left in right right in left) 99rr thats what happened, I took it appart last night and I had the tops of the carbs switched. I switched them back, turned the idle back down and it runs like a champ again. thanks a lot for your help guys. Quote
p8121 Posted December 17, 2003 Author Report Posted December 17, 2003 is it possible he had his gas and oil mixed a little off. maybe hes got too much oil and thats what is causing the oil on the plug?? just a thought. SHOULD I CHANGE THE OIL:GAS MIX IN THE WINTER? I WAS RUNNING 24:1 IN THE SUMMER, BUT SHOULD YOU LEAN IT OUT IN THE COLD? THANKS Quote
