Float Pivot Pin Removal

What is the proper tool to use to remove the float pivot pin? Clymer's Manual does not tell you what to use to remove the pivot pin on a Mikuni Carb. Thanks you in advance for whoever answers this question

Just a small punch or nail, anything you can use to tap it out with

[kawa110]

Spring loaded center punch works well on “stuck” pins. Most carbs the pin is designed to go in and out only one direction.
If I remember correctly the banshee stock carbs the pin should slide out very easily.
