frocashmoney24 Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 you have to reajust your jetting, your running rich, either a smaller jet or just move the clip up the needle a couple spots Quote

Justintoxicated Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 do you think if i take the air box lid off it may clear up?I just bought the bike and trying to de_bug it? it might, but that will definately make it run leaner at WOT... Your going to have to play with your jets if you do that anyways. Sounds like your pilot jets are too big. I'd remove the lid but you have to have some type of clamp on filter if you do this. You will probably have to then re-adjust your main jet a few sizes also. Have you tried playing with the idle screws? Quote
superchicken Posted December 14, 2003 Author Report Posted December 14, 2003 it has the proflow air filter kit on it,and the guy i bought it from said that he had it jetted for the the pipes and other mods that are on it.This may seem a little dumb on my part but i havent even changed the gas that was in it and its been sitting since the summer and now its around 35degrees out.so maybe i should really start with the very basics> Quote
