New SLP pipes, with new 28 pwk’s and K&N pods.

filters rub on pipes, I’m sure it’s common but how much room is adequate? I did buy some pipe wrap, but it will be in direct contact.

Are your filters straight or angled? Use high temp rad hose on pipes and turn your filter to so they are angled downwards

Already had some fiberglass pipe wrap on order, but ordered some hose as well. I figure a skinny wrap and the hose over that should work great.
As soon as I get my inserts for my pyrometers welded in the pipes I’ll be able to put it all back together.

Filters came today...

Fmf pipes, pwk28’s

I don’t care for how they sit on the frame, how loose they were on carb prior to tightening clamp, touching the pipes, the thin outerwears....
