92 banshee build

Thanks Guys. Yea the gold was a last minute decision. It’s all over the 250r so I figured I’d keep a little theme going.

As far as the pipes. I get polishing equipment from Zephyr polishing online.

As soon as they arrived I took the decals off. I think they are hideous. As for the turndowns I love them. Always liked a turndown two stroke silencer. It’s all just polished. I do all my own polishing. It’s a sit in the porch and widdle wood type thing.

I should have everything buttoned up by Wednesday. I’m just waiting on new o rings for my head.

Maybe I can get some input from you all on one thing? Cut fenders or not? I found as I got older I started to hate cut fenders on banshees. But with the frame color I’m really thinking about losing the front bumper and shaving my fronts, including the nose.

Any input would be appreciated. O yeah and the fenders are white on white on white.

First start today. 5 kicks and she started right up. I have a 50 pilot. Middle clip needle and 165 main. I did one heat cycle today. I’ll finish them tomorrow button up a few odds and ends then start chopping plugs.

If someone can tell me how to post a video through Tapatalk I would appreciate it...

Pretty much finished it up. Bike pulls real nice. 100% what I was looking for. I settled on 52p, 158m and 4th clip dgk.

I may put some CEL needles in and see how they run. But honestly from idle all the way to full throttle the bike doesn’t stop pulling. I I’m at 15/41 for gearing and that’s too short for the 18s but should be fine on the 20s.

I just threw those tires on for now. I have larger ones to mount and on coal I run 22in pro wedges.

I need to dial in my camber and toe, mount some new graphics and should be good to go.

Thanks all. I’m really happy with true motor. I’ll post the pics of the bike with the gold rims and graphics about mid week.

Has anyone had any luck running dgk needles? Everything I read is that cel is the way to go. But lane told me to run the ones that come in the carbs.

Here are some updated pics. I’m pretty much done and happy with it.

I have a ported serval coming so I’ll switch that out if I end up selling the drivelines. I have some Lazer stars on the way too.

I got my jetting finally dialed, and swapped out the swingarm for a stock length I found locally. Mounted up some new tires and put the OEM rims on I had lying around.

Thanks for the help gentleman.
