Adjustable timing plate

I bought one from fast a couple of years ago that instead of the whole plate turning just the pick up slides to set the timing. Are the other type any better than mine? Can't seem to find one like mine now.

no one liked those fast stopped selling them. jeff told me they were matoon made. jwr says not who knows, ask jeff they used to sell them

Guess I'll switch, must be some reason the majority liked the others better.

I ran it on my bike,  it doesnt affect performance, I just hated it because I could not freaking read the timing marks, plus unless you really know how to read the timing marks which arent numbered btw, you wont know where to set it. hell claude ran his on plus 12 or some crap all year and thought it was at plus 4  because they arent numbered lol

I was lucky enough to have Jeff mark mine, otherwise I would have been screwed

he marked mine too lol but if he hadnt there was no way i would know where it was!

The problem with the "mark" is that he marked the +4 slot, so I thought it was the "zero" mark, Wich is 100% logical, so I setted mine +5 from the mark, thus the +9 lol!!

Other than that, I'm still waiting for a logical argument about that plate not being good.

It's easier to change the timing with that plate.

I have a rm stator and had to file the paint off because it wasn't grounding.
