juldan1 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Going to venture into my first top end job. Want to know what everyone thinks about a kit from Vitos Racing. Also whats the difference between a forged and Cast piston? One more question..... Why would Vitos Superstock kit add 8 more ponies. IS the top of the cylinder different from stock or what? Does anyone know of a better place to get them. Vitos is 219.00 for superstock and 149.00 for pwer pistons that add 6ponies Quote
akpopeye Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Go with the wiseco kits..they are the most used......comes with everything probbly the cheapest ive seen is 140... lata Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 id' say not to get a kit, get some cosmetic gaskets , weisco pistons, get someone to bore it and your on your way Quote

boonman Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 I recommend going with a Wiseco top end kit. $145 is the usual price including the upper rod bearing. Quote
