Engine Powder Coating

Good morning all knowing, time for brain picking on powder. Can engine components be powder coated? I have heard that its a bad idea for heat but I have also seen parts done. So who has done it and what are results? Wondering about Cylinders and Cases.

Totally fine.

I do read higher temps on powdered cylinders but it never been an issue. They also dissipate slower in a cool down scenario

ive done cases several time on my builds.. turned out awesome!  as for the cyclinders I have heard you will have heat issues but thats just a rumor. might want to check with a builder.
