blk02banshee Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 First off, I just installed my v-force delta 2s, and from my short test ride in my yard, I gotta say they're fugging awsome. much, much better! I've heard horror stories about carbon fiber reed petals breaking off, and was wondering if anyone else had that happen. Also, how often do I need to change the petals? MY buddy at the yamaha shop gave my an inline water cooler, and I was wondering where's the best location for it, and which hose would be best to install it in? do they do much, or should I just say fugg it and throw it in a box in the garage? Nightrider Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 I got Almost 2 seasons on mine.Worth every Damm penny. When I took the one side out last month to look at them, they still looked new. I can tell a difference in the lower rpms now from when they were new.Not as torquey, but it stil idles good and runs great. Quote
blk02banshee Posted December 7, 2003 Author Report Posted December 7, 2003 The low end is the first thing I noticed. Before the reeds, I could'nt get a happy medium between low end take off and mid range. It always seemed like when I come down off the pipes and get back in it, the power was'nt there, and once the pipes came back on, it was like a lightswitch. Now, it's got a wider powerband and seems to come on right from takeoff. I can't wait to give it a real test. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 yea put the inline cooler in the hose running from the bottom of the radiator, it can cool the antifreeze by like 10 degree's, and its not hard to do Quote
blk02banshee Posted December 8, 2003 Author Report Posted December 8, 2003 Man, of all the stupid things I could do... I had the whole cooling system drained, because I put in a pro design impeller today, and totally forgot about the inline cooler. It woulda been so easy to throw it on there. Oh well, it's winter time anyway. Quote
