A few tabs and steering stem bearing.

1. Can I leave the steering stem bearing in my frame and get it powder coated and have it not be ruined? If not then how do you remove it?

2. Wtf is this tab? I wanna cut it off

Old tors box tab. Take bearing out and make sure you tell the powder guy to really protect those threads and bearing slots. If not you will hate yourself for it. Tell them protect it before they blast it, most pc guys use real course media and I've seen it destroy threads on a few occasions.any other question reach out

Pull the upper seal, clean out the grease, use a 1.25" or 32mm headed bolt (or a flywheel remover with the large hex body) to remove the inverted nut. The bearing should just slide up and out.

 

Cover the VIN too, for blasting
