jlaits Posted October 19, 2016 Author Report Posted October 19, 2016 One stator? I swapped the oem stator for the rm stator because the oem ignition side ohmed 22.4 when hot Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk Quote
ledofthezep Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Flip it to reserve and see what shee does. I'd drain the tank and yank out the petcock and clean it...same shit happened to me years ago and I ran it quite a while 'on reserve' until my lazy ass finally fixed/cleaned it. Worth a shot... Quote
JUSTWANNARACE Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Check the wiring harness where it passes by the pipes harness may have got melted and shorting out.. just a thought Quote
RagunCajun Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Gap on the pick up... Right by the flywheel. Check with feeler gauge. Check float height Quote
phillybuilt Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Gap on the pick up... Right by the flywheel. Check with feeler gauge. Check float height Spec is .020" on the pickup, 21mm float height on the carbs. Are you testing your stator in a place where it's right around 70 degrees? If not, that could affect your readings.
