I was wondering if these bulbs only have low beam. When I turn on the hi beam they turn off. I checked my switch with a multimeter and everything seems fine

So I found out these do have hi/low. I checked for continuity for the switches and everything checked out. Anybody have and idea what I could check for? I'm totally lost on this one

the sockets get corroded , and don't have a ton of pressure on the contacts, check voltage at the socket

Sockets are clean

Put you old bulbs back in and see if they work.

bad bulb? is both coils in the light good?

Both brand new

Blew old bulbs from voltage regulator becoming unplugged

You have to have a "control" when making experiments

So you don't know if they are good.

Did you check them?

Yes I checked them both good. That is why I'm so confused why the low beam works but hi beam doesn't
