Make sure the jetting is right and start cutting it down some.  Keep an eye on the plugs.  I'd suspect that you'll be fine on pump and moderate timing.

You really need to know what size dome you have. You also need to check your squish. Cranking compression isn't going to tell you what fuel to run. You have to figure out your copression ratio
