Was running good but left cylinder stopped running

Rebuilt motor completely it is bored .2 over it has decent sized porting running 300 main and not sure polite size 16cc cool head dome vforce reeds. Was riding at the track Sunday and all of a sudden left cylinder stopped rinning so when I got home I check compression I got 150 psi and I'm in colorado so that's about right cleaned carbs and it Semmes to be running again then I took it out it ran good for a couple pulls and now again same issue not sure what the problem is

My guess would be your left coil is bad or might have a break in the wire and your not getting spark and when you took it apart maybe just maybe messin with the coil made contact again...And me being a noob in all idk if you'll take my advice but its just a suggestion and starting point

I have switched the spark plug wires and it still on the left side and new spark plugs

when you say left side doesnt work do u mean ur not getting spark or ur just not getting any smoke out of the exhaust

Pull the plug boots off and take 1/4 inch off the wire then put the plug boots back on. Also check your reeds.

Pipe is completely cold on left side and right side is Hot and if it were a wire issue would it not switch to the other side when switching spark plug wires

Also it will randomly fire every once in a while

But if it was the stator would it not change cylinders if you switch the spark plug wires

But why would only the left cylinder not fire I understand that both plugs fire no mader the piston position but if I swapped wired it should still switch and if it was the stator would it not be both sides not firing

Okay makes sense sorry for the confusion I was think of it wrong but I have a spare stator I will throw on tonight and see if that helps I also have another pick up I will swap both but one at a time and I will report back

Before you do check pick-up gap, .018" set to lowest nub. If highest one is off more than a hair, LIGHTLY sand it down for equal gap.

Replaced sator and nothing changed I set gap and not sure what made it better but now it kinda runs it is spuddering now and firing like every other stroke

So did you pull your reeds and inspect them?
