I have a question about Nikasil.....does anyone have some pictures of a cylinder thats needs replated? trickedcarbine Posted March 31, 2016 Report Share Posted March 31, 2016 Better option, post what you got. Have you acid wiped the bore? Also, you can diamond hone nikasil. As long as you don't have any gouges, grooves, or flaking you're probably fine. I magnaflux nikasil on stuff that's old or worn. It can reveal stuff you can't see with your eyes.
