Im planning on running a Dyna ignition on my Banshee and am wondering if I need to run a timing plate as well or will the Dyna take care if it all. Any suggestions? cOoLDeviL Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 you dont have to install them both if you get the dyna ignition you will be fine because when you use it in stock condition you will get a +4 timing just the same as the timing plate .... D34 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Share Posted December 3, 2003 you dont have to install them both if you get the dyna ignition you will be fine because when you use it in stock condition you will get a +4 timing just the same as the timing plate .... on the "stock" curve the dyna will have the same advance as stock until it gets to 3000 rpms or so... and the it slowly ramps to where it is advanced 4 degrees more than stock at 10000 rpms... hope this clears it up alittle 4 u...
