Well Glamis Was Happenin This Weekend

who all went to glamis this weekend? I did and let me tell ya. it sure is changing out there. I kind of like the changes. no trucks or carts at the hills at night. only bikes and rails. sure was ALOT less congested. felt like I could run the hill and not have to worry about getting creamed by some drunk ass in a truck. if you were there...how was your trip?

I was there and it was definately less congested than previous T-Days. Olds on Friday night was mellow.

China Wall was pretty cool on Saturday afternoon.

Since my Banshee was out of commission, I was riding my buddies Bombadier DS 650 Baja. The Sea Doo (thats what we call it) is heavy but dunes like a Cadillac! I wish my Banshee sucked up the whoops like the Sea Doo!

No i dont remember it we where up on the first hill coming in from the road so we where back a little from the starting line... We only seen them flying up the hill we got there around 10:00 am and left around 1:00..

Some of those bikes where insane though..

yea there were some fast bikes out there. I was at the hill sat. with some friends from Super Finishers 2 racing. they were out to race some bike from D&M. I left before they raced. Supposedly they were gonna race thier fastest bike against D&M's fastest....wonder who won

I was there on thx-giving weekend, and it was INSANE! I have gone every year for six years, but this year was out of control. Comp Hill on Saturday afternoon was unbelieveable. I bet there was 10,000 people just at Comp. Friday night at the drags was crazy, but it got crazier when the cops showed up and started shooting people with paintballs filled with tear gas. Saturday night was more of the same, except when the cops showed up, everyone moved to another location. All the diesel trucks were draggin and chicks were showin tits to start most every race. I was driving my buddy's Dodge Cummins H.O.(white quad cab) and I smoked every truck that wanted some. What a bad ass weekend. Anyone that hasen't been to Glamis on a holiday weekend dosen't know what they are missing. Go ahead and bring your pimped out shee. There will be 500 shees that will make yours seem like a stocker. Cool to see what others are doing to their shees,too.

I was at old saturday around 1pm, I was check out the drags w/ a camcorder, I did major damage to my ears! there was fast goft karts hill shooting w/ 2 NOS bottles in the back, I really wanted to see the green Twister triple run that was just parked there. It consisted of 3 cylinder t-rex motor w/ powervavles, im guessing it was like 750cc. everywhere else I feel like big shit with my drag bike, but at Old, they were everywhere, like bringin beer to a keg party. Last year I saw 90% T rex motors going up Old, NOW I saw mostly CHeetahs. there was a fast banshee w, a streetbike motor, but I guess I cant really consider it a banshee then :rolleyes:
