Not to thread jack.. But we were down in LSOK and it was night time (couldn't see the gauge) but we got back to camp and my max on my tto hit 245.. It runs fine.. But I'm gonna open it up in a few weeks to see what that was about..

hmmm.... maybe different but... 220 is usually boiling point of coolant, I know most 450's operate in the 180-200 range.. I think the fan jumps on at 195-200ish...

 

 

IMO... if you cant start getting the bike cooler passed 200 shut it down... but its MUCH better to cool the bike riding it then shutting down at 200.... just my opinion...

Coolant doesn't boil at 220* when its under pressure. 50/50 mix is more in the 250* range @ 8psi.
