Another thing to think about is changing the crank seals and checking to crank IMO it's a must as a precursor for portwork. And it's best to let whoever is portiing the cylinders do the bore job and match the pistons , I know when I port I like to get it close bore the cylinders then degree it up and final port and chamfer blend . A good chamfer n blend can add to ring life Quote
Rage_kage Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 I doubt this will help due to my lack of experience with other ported Banshee motors but I felt it was time to get alittle more out of my motor so I sent mine to redline and after tuning it in I was pleased with how it runs, suited my needs just fine, and his price is a added bonus.
