I have lots of guns some are loaded and some are not. but the last thing I am going to do is tell people how many and WHERE they are in my home.

 

and do you know that most people that are shot in there own home are shot with there own gun. my them selves or by intruders finding them loaded.

Listen here little boy, I grew up in a bad Suburb of Chicago, IL, ever hear of Bellwood? Well, its not that great, I have gotten my ass kicked numerous times because I was the only white kid on the block (BTW I was in 1-4th grade during those times). There were mexicans, pakistani's, and a lot of Black people in that town. I was just a little chubby kid that minded my own business and I still got my ass kicked daily. When My parents could afford to move, we did and all was better.

But, I did not grow up hating black people or any other race because of what happened to me. I give everyone the respect they deserve untill they give me a reason not to. And most of all I didnt become paraniod and feel the need to be armed to protect myself with weapons on a daily basis.

I have been in the ghetto, I have seen Cabrini green (Chicago), I have been in some fucked up parts of Chicago and Rockford IL, But I know this: If you mind your own business, dont start any shit, no one will bother you.

Yes, I have some firearms, I have about 8 different varieties. I keep them in a safe place, and I know how to use them.

And if you have money to buy all of these guns and all of this great ammo, why do you live in the bad part of town?

I have nothing to add to this thread, except:

 

1. It makes me appreciate living in a small town where I haven't been burglarized a single time in the 11 years I've been here, my Banshee only has a 5/16" chain and a cheap Master padlock on it and it's "safe", and the only firearm I own is a Ruger 10-22 that has more sentimental value than anything.

Then move to Manhatton and live in an apartment a little more expensive but not much more safer. How did you get the pic at the bottom by your signiture? I would like to put a pic of my shee by my signiture. A friend of mine had 2 raptors stolen. 1 had insurance. He had to go threw all kinds of BS to get them to pay then they did not pay him for his mods.

 

Could you help me maybe put a slide show of pics of my shee?

Ninja Master: that is the craziest way to lock up a banshee that I have ever heard. If I had to go through all of that to ride my banshee, it would be dark by the time I got it unlocked. Id rather spend 120$ a year for insurance and have some piece of mind. I do have my shee locked up in a 12X12 shed with a crappy lock. No one has tried to steal her yet. It sounds like you would be better off disassembling your banshee each time you are done riding, and box each part up and hide them all around your garage. Then, when you go to ride you can plan it out a week ahead of time and start assembling her before the big ride,,,, just hope it doesnt rain when that day comes.

Guys, lets make it simple, cool, and nice solution.

 

[1] Build a room next to your house made of wood or cement or something.

 

[2] Put your Shee(s) and Other thing(s) in it and lock it up with good chains.

 

[3] Lastly, put a home security system on that newly built room, so that, when it is opened by force by burgulers, it will make a loud noise, all lights in your yard will be put on and some lights will go on and off continously and so on.

They break your front door down. Now there are 6 gangs members out side your bed room door. They start breaking down your bed room door. You are traped in your room. hey I don't want to insult you, but you should just take it easy man. Maybe if you think a little more and look up words you don't know how to spell I'm sure people will lighten up a little. Im not trying to be an ass or anything bro, I probably have more typo's and bad grammer than anyone.

 

I think the general consensus around here is that if someone wants your bike bad enough there really is not a practical way to protect it. You do seem a little paranoid and I in no way can understand your experiences etc. But riding should mostly be about fun man, and if you worry about everything you won't have any.

 

Q: Does anyone know of any places in CA that will insure a banshee for a decent price to a 23 year old? Last time I looked it was almsot as expensive to insure my bike as it is my truck. I can't really afford another payment that high untill I graduate college and hopefully find a decent job. Insurance drops way cheaper after I turn 25, but thats still over a year away...Any Ideas? I know its not covered under home owners, but for around $1000 a year its almsot worth just taking my chances the way I see it.
