kennethbrantley5 Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 If I advance my timing to +4 would hurt my shee motor? Stock motor with vf4 reeds, pro design coolhead with 22cc domes, t5's, k&n poddes, with a advance timing plate. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 I'd definitely throw 4 degrees at that set up. Make sure it's good premium gas though. Quote
mike0chek Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 yup crank that up to 4 , make sure to have nice fresh fuel Quote

ClaudeMachining Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Just a question here. How do you evaluate the hp gain on his setup for stock timing vs +4??? Quote
kennethbrantley5 Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 I always heard that when you bump up the timing you get some more hp out of it. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
Duodenum Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 I've done extensive research on this subject and it seems that all the cool kids are going +4 I talked to Fast Racing and Dave Noss about it and they both said it is perfectly fine and will not hurt the motor at all.
