02Bansheeee
We built my brothers banshee a while ago and it's been doing a weird cutting in and out like it's losing spark every now and then. But now it's doing it every time you hit the gas, especially when it's cold. If it's cold and does it, it will not cut back on for a few minutes. I am led to think that the stator is dying? Anyone else had this problem or can give me me some info on what they think is happening?
02Bansheeee
And I it takes different amounts to kick when it's cold day by day... Some days it's 2 some days it's 12. The ground is good and the wiring harness looks intact
02Bansheeee
For the past few months it hasn't been riddden, just started and gassed to try to see if it's grounding out on something
Larry's Shee
Start by ohming it. Then clean stator poles, inside of flywheel, and timing nubs. Set pick-up gap to .018" . Then check that ALL connections are clean and tite.Won't hurt to add dielectric grease to them. Check that all grounds are clean &tite, coil mount is bare metal.Ohm coil and plug caps seperate.
