Sheeboy12 Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 I'm fixin to slap on a 15 tooth front sprocket. The stock one is 14 i believe. How much more top end will i get? About 3-4 mph? My shee is a 2000 and completely stock, as far as performance goes. Quote
teamriot Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 Go to Bluetraxx.com they have a calculator page for sprockets, tire sixe, Ratios so on. It calculates it to be 6mph, I put one on my shee and it also helps to hook up quicker, the RPM comes up a little slower and if the motor can pull the gear ratio you will get more big end. Banchetta Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 Roughly 5mph and I'm not sure if the stock pipes could pull it, so you might not gain anything...the stock pipes lose hp after 6500rpms which is why they take so long to get up to speed. Get a set of pipes and you'll gain 10mph on top speed and get there faster even w/ midrange pipes....the stock pipes are that bad.... Quote
banshee tuner Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 HAVE NOT HAD IT CLOCKED BUT IT FEELS LIKE AT LEAST 10 MPH. IT IS MORE RIDABLE AND IT HOOKS UP BETTER. I LIKE IT ALSO CAUSE I CAN STAY IN A GEAR LONGER Quote
