I've had my vitos 4mil standard rod for awhile still in plastic, and box. I really can't comment or say anything negative about it. Hope to have my trail heap done by or before end of summer. I'm in no hurry. I'm doing all new suspension before anything. As for the hotrods crank I dropped one in my brothers bike, and it's holding up fine. Believe me he rides that motherfucker like he stole it! What brand of crank, and rods, and bearing combo you run? I'm sure you get way more in depth then I do......but I'm always down to learn a thing or two. sent from yo mammy house Quote
bigweav81 Posted May 24, 2015 Report Posted May 24, 2015 def, buy sheerider1026`s crank he doesnt deal scrap metalHe will be receiving payment in a matter of hours. I might add he is selling it for a very decent price as well. May be a shitty thing to say, but I wouldn't buy anything from a guy on here that hasn't been around for years. That's just me though. sent from yo mammy house Quote

registered user Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 skf is what i like to use but they aint cheap. $85 a pop for rollers from most any local bearing house. about $60 online. ring grooves have to be cut in all the lower bearing bores. shit adds up but its just money. ballbearing style are alot cheaper at $20 or so each and dont need any machining on the cases. alot of times the rod breaks before the bearings go bad so its pointless to use expensive rollers. to put rollers on a $400 hotrods, youll be into it around $900 when its all said and done unless you can do all the labor yourself Quote
