Mrtaterman Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 wth is my problem, i have been told it could be my clutch, clutch lever adjustment, stretched clutch cable causing adjustment to be wrong, foot lever in wrong place. i suspect clutch because i just replaced it, adjusted it so the arrows aligned, but when i let out on my clutch lever it grabs nearly fully disengaged, maybe my clutch cable is in fact stretched causing it to be out of adjustment? trickedcarbine Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 There is an eccentric that can be adjusted on the shift shaft. Check that as well as other shifting components for wear. Quote
camp0429 Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 Do a google search on this, there is plenty of info out there. Sometimes your clutch release arm wont work quite right if its lined up with arrow on case. I had mine set with the pointer and arrow lined up but would kill it everytime I put it in gear, and it was near impossible to find nuetral. I adjusted the clutch to were the arm is to the left of case arrow and haven't had a problem since. As tricked stated, check you eccentric adjustment Quote
