I just recently has my engine completely rebuilt top to bottom. At first it would crank up within 2-3 kicks now the engine will not start until I pour a little bit of gas on my filters. After I do that it'll start right up. The bike runs perfectly fine once started it's just a bitch to get started.

Can anybody give me a idea on what's the issue

Yeah passed all of that. I'm running 27.5 pilot 280 main. That's the jetting I had in the winter. It's getting it's fuel because the bike is a champ when started does wheelies in fourth gear without pulling the clutch

Type of pipes ? Some of the trail pipes like FMF fatty's and pro circuits require the stock jets to fire right up the first kick even with the choke out. Thats how mine was and I switched my single carbed shee back to stockers with 25 pilots and 250 mains its a stock motor with just pc pipes and no porting starts first kick everytime.

I have fmf turbine core 2's I was thinking the same thing about my jetting I pulled my plugs and the plugs were wet the bottom threads on the plugs were like a gold color but were wet and but the whole plug was wet

Yea switching the main comes into play for the larger pipes like Shearer or Trinity inframes and motors with tons of work but im sure leaving the main stock and keeping the 27.5 pilots in will let her fire on one kick

^ DO NOT DO THIS.

Stock mains will burn that motor down. And thinking the main will affect start up is backward.

And not to be rude nique, tearing a motor down and dropping a trans in it and re assembling everything else does not count as a full top/bottom rebuild. The compression is pretty low on that thing so that makes start up difficult as is, but it'll also compound just about any other issue. A stock bike with FMF's and pods WILL be 27.5-30 pilot and 270-280 main.

Start checking over electrical as well. All the simple stuff like that can make a bike run piss poor.

-Set the pick up gap

-Clean nubs on flywheel and pick up

-Gap plugs

-New Plug Boots

-Grease Connections

-Clean the ground
