SHEEMAN0415
Hey guys i just ordered my top end kit, but im still tryin to figure out what happened to fry my one piston before i put the new ones in. One piston is shot but the other one is in good shape. I did a leak down everything is fine except the guy that had it before me put a boost bottle in for some reason and thats leaking on both sides where it goes into the manifold, would that cause alot of problems? Mods: full shearer exhaust, boyesen reed cage and reeds, (gay boost bottle) Edited April 25, 2015 by SHEEMAN0415
trickedcarbine
If you did a leak down but it's leaking at the boost bottle it's not fine. Chuck the boost bottle and replace it with a stock cross over and find some new boots. That leak can roast a motor in definitely.
Pasi S.
Remember - Do not run it, before it has passed the leak test.
