lllllBonlllll
i did a compression test today and got 100 on both sides. i know that is already pretty low but one side (i think left) is misfiring.it runs cooler than the other and pretty much have no torque. It bogs and sputters at first until i get into higher rpms and then the powerband kicks. I know its not my jetting or dirty carbs because i took it to motorsports and had it rejetted and cleaned. ihave fresh pugs in, and i know its not the caps that go over the spark plugs because i swapped them. I Synced my carbs but i just dont know why it would be runnin like this if both cylinders are reading same compression. Also it goes through gas WAY too fast i think there is a leak in both of my carbs. maybe sticky floaters? -fmfs -k&n air filter - elevation lever 5,
Phelps
You answered your own question. Not enough compression. ..
lllllBonlllll
You answered your own question. Not enough compression. . So even though it has same compression on both sides, low compression can cause one to misfire? Phelps
Yes. 1 could be just a lb or two higher and create just enough vacuum to get enough fuel in to fire. 100 is too low even at 6k ft

Larry's Shee
So, you took it to Ben Dover Motorsports for carb clean and jetting? Carbs leak and runs like shit? Did you get a kiss with that fucking? What brand comp tester are you using and how did you test? List your mods and current jetting.
llawnmeister
Make sure you didn't blow out a base gasket!! I had a similar problem when one of my base gaskets blew out.
