LoveThePolice Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Hi, Tomorrow I am going to buy some tires for my Banshee. The tread on my current ones is shit and the rear right has a slow leak. I will be purchasing paddles later on for dunes - these will be used mostly on trails, in very boggy beach sand, and perhaps for some doughies I really like the look of Maxxis Razr2's, but will consider: Maxxis Razr2 Razr Ballance Holeshots Kenda Klaws I guess I'd like a fair bit of traction. I notice I mostly spin my wheels excessively in soft sand. Would like a bit more grip, with the ability to ride really well on trails. Would the Razr2's be adequate for that? ___________________________________________________________ What about tire dimensions? I have the stock rims and would prefer to keep them, but have no issue with purchasing new wheels if it means better performance. Should I go for wider or taller tires? Thanks for the replies in advance, and remember I'm going in ~8hrs Quote
sleeper06 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 That's funny bro , I was only fucking with you about the cop thing,. Your old sig made me think of the old NWA days hanging on the corner with a tape player. Blasting f the poilice Quote
Deadbeat Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 none of those will work all that great in loamy sand, razr2`s have a soft compound but are a good tire, mines got 20x11-9 on stock rims Quote

Plus you gotta run from them when you see em in state and national parks. none of those will work all that great in loamy sand, razr2`s have a soft compound but are a good tire, mines got 20x11-9 on stock rims I'll have a chat to the bloke at the store, that was the size I was looking at most. Thought a wider tire would provide more traction. I'll report back here with what I end up getting. Quote
LoveThePolice Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 I went with Maxxis Razr Balance in the rear, and Maxxis Razr XC on the front. Going to be a fun Easter. Quote
Deadbeat Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 i didnt like the look of the ballance because of how sparse the lugs are, too much area in between them and only in rows of 2 and 3 Quote
