Ok, now we're getting somewhere....I'm not sure what's behind it...I just took an old clutch out and put in a new one...is the hub the part that's sticking out from the last clutch fiber? Is it suppose to be more flush with that last fiber?

I have one...that's why I'm stumped. But what shreerider and radarracing said was the first thing that was mentioned that I didn't know about. Would have posted pics earlier. So is the hub out of place?

1. Read Clymer

2. Follow instructions.

3. Ride.

One of your spacer washers is in the wrong spot it seems in the picture. (Possibly ) hard to see.

There should be one on each side of the basket.

did that as well.  not a noticeable difference.  But can u answer this one question, like someone mention earlier, is that hub out of place.  if so that would solve my problem.  Cause it would make sense on why my clutch plate is not grabbing the clutches

take the center hub off the bike. like sprinklerman has said over and over get your clymers out and fix the reason the center hub is sticking out too far.
