Is there any advantage to running the box compared to the filler neck?

Less water if you are running just the filler neck which equals less weight.

 

I like the tank cause you get a little bit more capacity and it's aluminum so it will dissipates heat well.

I have installed quick connects from the sled shop on a few customer bikes, then use a 12 v bilge pump from a boat to pump water out of a cooler . I don't personally run this but have set up a few bikes in the past. Something about pumping ice cold water through a hot engine always rubbed me the wrong way but I'll do whatever a customer wants
