Carb/gas problem

Took my bike to a recommended shop...for a carb rebuild, sync my carbs,blah blah blah... Bike ran good and still has the 280s in it was just leaking when I left the gas open..any ways now when I got it back it doesn't run right especially from a dead stop and low end..changed gearing for a little more top end so this is really messing with me when I ride...what do you guys think it is? It kinda bogs out when you has it from idle too

Did they use rebuild kits? Typically they come with shindy needles and they are not right. Also it would be a 25 pilot, wrong if you have mods. Typically most people thinking they need a "rebuild" just need a thorough cleaning, and a float adjustment.

 

What is done to the bike, what's each jet inside, who did the work?

Yeah I gave them the shindy rebuild stock kits...he left the jets in there but used the needles...they were stock pilots with 280 mains...bike ran good unless it should've ran better but now it runs the worst! Bike has boost bottle and force 4 reeds..k&n filter..fmf fattys .. Blais cycle in ft laud florida did it...check there site..they do like hi tech drag hays uses and shit...he said he knew two strokes and I trusted em.

Yeah, you need at least 27.5 pilots, OEM needles maybe second clip from bottom, and 280-290 main. Possibly 300 main. I'd definitely try it if the plugs look questionable.

 

Do not trust any one without doing the research first and then hearing them confirm what needs to be done.

you could have a lean or rich bog. See where your air screws are at, such as 1 turn out or 2 turns out from lightly seated all the way in. Report back with what you find.

He said it bogs down so that's lean. Pull the pilot and check what size. If it is a 25 you need bigger like said above or it needs unclogging. Could also be that your air screw isn't adjusted correctly. Turn the air screws in 1/4 of a turn at a time until the bog goes away.
