Can dents on your exhaust cause a performance drop?

My Banshee has never really performed all that great and I am starting to wonder if the dents in my headers are the cause. I will take pictures tomorrow but is it possible? It seems like there is really no low end.

I'd say to some point depending on how bad there dented. But I don't think a few dings will kill your bottem end.

I'd say in some dimensions its about 2 inches wide, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch deep

Anyway...DMC pipes come with a decent dent in them from factory to clear the coolant hose...so im sure your fine. ..I would check your off the wall jetting first

Yeah that was after the timing plate advance. It doesn't have much get up and go to it. Also I have FMF's not DMC.

He was using the DMC's as a reference, and if you added timing it should wake up the bottom end.

No, advanced it by 4 degrees. I modded the stock timing plate though.

I didnt know where the dremel was so I said fuck it and hacked it with a grinder. Im not sure I will take the flywheel back off again. it seems like it went back down to stock timing, slower fires from the sounds of it.
