There is no difference, all that was changed was gearing, j arms to a arms, the rear hubs, and something else I believe.

But no electrical stuff besides the connections on the harness.

I have a master "de" pinning tool so I just removed the wires from one and put them in another in a pinch....

Ya the plugs come apart pretty easily. You could even just get different plugs from Corey to make stuff work, but his actual adaptors are almost as cheap.

There was one year where they did change the timing in the CDI, they bumped it up a tad. I think it was 94 but I am not 100% on the year.

I think I saw a chart for this. It had the +/- of degrees related to rpm. Not sure if it was oem or not. So don't rely on me.
