Ollies930 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Does anybody have a conversion chart for the Mikuni 042 hex jets, comparing jet number with inside diameter? From what I understand, these jets are not numbered according to inside diameter, but flow rate instead. My jets currently are drilled to .067" ID, would love to know what the corresponding jet number would be. Quote
Bennett131 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 I asked a similar question before and would also like to know...that being said I did use pin gages to see the difference between jets. Ever size up you went, the hole got .001 bigger if I recall... (that was main jets) Quote
ETR174 Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Here ya go, .067" converts to a 390 Quote
Ollies930 Posted September 25, 2014 Author Report Posted September 25, 2014 Awesome, thank you! Quote
Larry's Shee Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Here ya go, .067" converts to a 390 where the fuck you find that? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Here ya go, .067" converts to a 390Finally posted some gold! The drag guys who are drilling mains for alky may appreciate this as well Quote
Bennett131 Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Well, dip me in dog shit....I was right for once. lol Quote
ETR174 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Well Bennett they have them going up by 5's, Banshee mains go by 10's so in perspective of Banshee mains they go up .002" each size. Quote

Bennett131 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Not entirely true...The chart goes up by fives at first, and then by 10s. That being said I measured 320 330 and 340 mains, and regardless of what the chart says, they were .001 in size difference. I know for a fact you don't have precision pin gages laying around to check for yourself. Quote
Bennett131 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 And they were actually mikuni jets too...God knows where you found your "chart"...I will disregard your comment. Quote
ETR174 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I'm just going by the chart... Quote
