KAMIKAZE Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 Hey guys Started having an issue with my fairly stock bike today, basically right plug is wet Runs perfect for the first 30 seconds of riding then starts to miss/run on one cylinder, remove both plugs and right one is wet. I have cleaned main jets/tested floats/checked for any air leaks/swapped leads/replaced plugs and inspected reeds for damage all with no change Suggestions ? Thanks Quote
Leadmonster Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 idk make sure your not loosing spark , or swap carbs to see if you get left plug to do it. you already covered a lot ,mabey pull that pipe and have a look at piston. first id swap carbs. that's just me Quote
Leadmonster Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 you have been running the 33's right? Quote
KAMIKAZE Posted September 13, 2014 Author Report Posted September 13, 2014 Yeah been running the 33s for ages with zero dramas Quote
Deadbeat Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 fairly stock..didnt you bolt a cub onto that Quote
KAMIKAZE Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 Yeah but I mean on pump fuel just a play bike Quote
RadarRacing Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Swap carbs. See what happens to check for carb prob. Swap plug wire sides to see if it switched the wet side. Since you checked reeds you then want to check piston condition, crank true etc. Quote
KAMIKAZE Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 Got it sorted now turns out a small part of where the little float bit seals had a lump stuck on it so would almost seal and just flood after a short ride Thanks guys Quote
