Rim Paint?

Has anyone successfully paint their stock rims? If so how? I want to do mine black. And no I rather not plastic dip.

No matter what kind of paint you use, if you hit something it will chip. Pc doesn't hold up too bad though.

its going to chip like hell, so you might as well just rattlecan them so your touchups match

I painted mine with just a regular can of spray paint. Did 2 coats of primer and 4 coats of white and they came out okay. It's simple to take the paint off too.

Any spray cab paint u would recommend that sticks pretty good?

The brand of paint is not as important as the prep work.

the best prep would be to have them sand blasted then seal, prime, paint.

Second would be a scotchbrite and rough up every nook and crannie. Then clean with dawn dish soap and water, use a self etching primer, paint. I reccomend automotive single stage, if you want rattle can then duplicolor.
