  1. Traded my banshee* Glad to see you still have a stick up your ass. My banshee isn't built yet
  2. Nope, didn't buy them from a member and they're not 300ex shocks.
  3. I measured both eyes to be 11/16" thick. Doesn't match any of the stuff I bought them with.
  4. It's not letting me upload any pictures says "You have exceeded your allotted disk space for attachments" when I haven't even attached anything. Here's the photobucket link http://s782.photobucket.com/user/TroyBrock/library/Shocks
  5. Not sure where I should post these but this seems like a good spot. Recently bought a bunch of parts, which included lt250r and honda atc 350x parts. Among the parts were a pair of Works dual rate shocks with no ressy. I'm not sure what they go to because they are roughly 12.5" which is much too short for ltr shocks and obviously aren't atc shocks. I've looked all over and couldn't find anything. If any one has any ideas what they go to I'd appreciate it.
  6. As far as I can tell it's in great shape. I can't remember what exactly had been done to it but I recall the previous owner mentioning cutting off useless brackets. I don't have a frame to compare it to so I have no idea.
  7. 20 minutes west of albany, pm for exact town.
  8. No title, bill of sale. In New York bill of sale will get you registration and registration acts as the title. I don't know about other states.
  9. $150 obo 2004 Frame, nicely rattle canned black, bought it off another member like that. PICK UP ONLY. Located in upstate New York. Can text or email pics but it's just a regular frame, nothing special.
  10. It's running great, only thing I've found wrong with it so far is a crack in the nerf bar, gonna pull it off and weld it this winter. I've put a good 20 hours on it so far so if anything engine or suspension wise was messed up I think I would have noticed it by now.
  11. I had a trail tech vapor on my machine and for the most part it worked. The Tach was accurate, it went up and down about 200 rpm but it says right in the manual that it is only so accurate. The water temp worked great, the temp light was especially useful. You can even program a shift light for new riders, or for yourself. I never set up the speed sensor because it was on an 87 and the kit was made for 90 to new. The ambient temperature read out is nice and it even has a digital clock.
  12. At the time the Banshee was running great, started right up first kick every time, only thing that it needed at that point was a new swing arm, which I had but didn't put on yet and a carb rejet because of the changing weather. I was just sick of things breaking every time I fixed something else, that particular banshee liked to be in pieces. the 4 poke has a shit ton of power compared to a stock banshee motor, obviously.
  13. Thanks Didn't exactly sell it. Traded it for a trx450r, both I and the trader are extremely pleased with what we got.

  15. Got it back together, new clip, found the washer so I put that back on as well. No more sounds but I have to open it back up cause it's slipping real bad now, must have over adjusted the pressure plate.
  16. Bump - need this gone! Make an offer, open to trades of equal value roller, built motor, parts, etc
  17. Also as cotton mentioned, Do I need a new clip or will I be fine without it?
  18. I didn't look at the basket when I replaced the clutch so it's possible it was cracked and I didn't notice.
  19. Yeah, the busing was fine before but now it's crap, I have a new one to put in. so should I use loctite or not? The bolts didn't strip the threads the thing the bolts go into sheared right off
  20. I can torque it to specs so should I do that or just do hand tight on all of them? also should I just use all stock springs or can I stick with the 3hd and 3 regular?
  21. Hey guys, quick background before I get to the problem. I recently fixed the idle gear and put in a new clutch, did everything to specs, used 3 HD and 3 regular springs and it was adjusted right. First few days it was great, then I noticed it was starting to be alittle jerky when I shifted from neutral to first, then it got real bad so I decided to take off the clutch over. Now here's the problem, 2 broken inner hub bolt holes and 2 other spring screws had started to back out. And the idle gear once again lost it's clip. I have a new inner basket and idle gear ready to go. I know the springs are suppose to be tighten to 7 lb/ft but I'm wondering what I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again. And if anyone might have and insight into what happened the first time. Thanks Troy
  22. There is 2 nubs on the flywheel, take a business card and make sure it fits between the nubs and they pick up, it should fit snug. Check both nubs, adjust if needed. Post a picture of your CDI and wires. I'll shoot you a pm with my number, I might be able to help you sort your wiring.
