priano0802 Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Bought a bike that was in pieces from a friend. Completely disassembled. I know I'm missing the carbs pistons and heads. I have the jugs. But I ordered new stock pistons and they seem big. I'm going to post pics of this very long project. Paid 500 for all of it. Hoping not to go broke over it lol. Probably putting current pics up in the morning as I'm going though it all. I have 0 two stroke experience. I do have a drz 125 and a Honda 300. Any advice is welcome! Thanks!! Quote

priano0802 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Report Posted June 29, 2014 It's too late lol. But I appreciate it. I only got the piston kit. And swing arm bearings. But I think the jugs have been bored. I will confirm here beforehand Quote

n2otoofast4u Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 More than likely those pistons are useless. Quote
priano0802 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Report Posted June 29, 2014 There is a pretty decent gap between piston and cylinder wall.. How the Fuck do you use shoutbox? I don't see a place to type but I can read it Quote
Nightmare Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 Just send DDQ a nip pic and he'll leave you alone. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote

WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 Ddq...As to what? Do you lift? Are you into guys who do? Do you Crossfit? What are you wearing? Do you enjoy building furniture from scrap items? Things of the nature...... Quote
troyzstang Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 ^^^ LOL Don't forget to also include. "Do you break just about everything you touch 1 Quote
03DMshee Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 Oh boy....if you didnt screw the pistons up too bad put them back in the box to have shipped back... Measure your jugs to see what size piston is needed...how are the cyl walls? If they are ok you can prolly get away with a hone and some new pistons "too that bore size" Quote
