Definitely adjustable Power jets. They will affect the top end jetting. Looks like a sloppy install though. I wouldn't even bother taking them out because there will just be a huge hole to fix. Not a big deal if you are good with metal, but it would take some talent to get them right.

It's very possible that the rest of the carb has been modded for use with alky. If you are running gas, chances are they won't work for you anyway.

It's somewhat rare for someone to put PJ's on gas carbs.

I don't know a shit about this so how can I know if they were using for Alky or not?

Look at the "dump tube" or needle jet and see if you can tell if it was drilled visually.

If you can't tell , you'll have to measure it's I.D. I prefer to use a numbered drill bit set.

If you can find 2 cheap tower assemblies you can replace them..but I'd suggest just selling them and buy what you need.

Honestly I don't see anything else modified beside the power jet
