J-Madd Posted May 9, 2014 Report Share Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Run the kill switch wires to each of the red wires from the coils. No need for 2 or the diodes. And your gonna need a dial indicator to get the timing "right", a spare coil, spare stator, for troubleshooting when it won't start, an alleged coil to motor to chassis ground. JUSTWANNARACE Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 You will need to run the diodes if u want to run only one kill switch or it will send interference to the pickups and burn them up prematurely. I always just run 2 kills so if there is an issue you can pull one kill at a time to isolate problem to right or left. Do you know what he set the timing at?
