Hey, I have a question. I am new here...to all of this. I'm only doing this because my friend John is like REALLY into this sh*t and if i get into it..maybe...dun dun dun...lol... and even if i don't, maybe there will be a cool guy here :) hehe....anyway. My friend Joe has a quad and I rode it like 2ce, but then he went to boot camp and i didn't in a long time. Its so F*cking fun! But the thing is, I don't really know much about this subject. I am good with cars and trucks, but not with Quads and everything. Is there anyone nice that can help?! I live in Grand Rapids Michigan, and i don't live in the country, a few friends do, but not me  yet anyway :P . Please, PLEASE help me!!! thanks! Peace'n'Lov, Mary

Ummm, what was the question? Heh, yes you're in the right place, anything you want to know, someone can answer. And I'm sure you could find someone to ride with up North, Silver Lake sounds like some nice dunes for that part of the country...

The best model would of course be a Banshee. Or, one of the new YFZ 450 machines. They are an excellent machine as well. Welcome to the HQ, and like said, you will learn ALOT!!! And their are LOTS of nice people here, With myself of course, leading the list. Not really, but stick around long enough and you will become knowledgable at this game..... :D

Silver Lake huh? Wait, i though thats closing soon isn't it? Ok, if it isn't or opens up later, how much will it be? O, my question was what model or brand should I buy, the best kind of Quad or something....or at least a cheap one to play with :P thanks, peace'n'lov, Mary

What kind(s) of quads did you used to ride on? What did he used to ride? If you look around you can get good used quads for cheaper money & ovoid dealer fees, etc... Hell, I'd marry the girl who bought me a quad & had it waiting for me when I got home! :P ...lucky punk! <_< hehe

Heh boonman, I can top that: buy TWO Banshees!! And then take a trip to the dunes (ideally a week in Glamis, but a weekend @ SL will do). Now THAT would be nice...ridin' a Banshee, a babe on a Banshee, sand....gaaaaah :P

You'll really have to let us know what type of riding he does to help you decide. I really believe the new yamaha 450 is one of the best all around quads there is right now.... stock for stock. But, they aren't cheap. Maybe you have a budget that we could also go by. By the way, welcome.
