4 mil Banshee problem

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. Anyways i just picked up this beast and it runs great except for it seems to have a slipping clutch in high rpm's. So i got a new driveline performance clutch and its still the same exact problem. As soon as i go full throttle it tops out and doesn't speed up anymore and when i shift its immediately topped out in about every gear. Could any one diagnose this? This is the best way i could describe what its doing. Thanks everyone.

Is the place you bought it and the place you ride it now drastically different elevations?

don't keep riding it or you will be destroying the new clutch

either its not adjusted properly or your using some oil that's not ment for a wet clutch

Do you have a little slack in the clutch cable after the new install?

Arrows on the cases lined up?

Which arrows are you referring to? And yes it has slack, i even unhooked the clutch cable and pushed it and hopped on and shifted into first and drove it like that and it exact same so its not any cable adjustments

arrows on the case and clutch actuator. (initial adjustment)

What oil?

Did you soak the fibers first?

Install a fiber first and last?

I was told by others to use 10w30 and i did soak them for about a half hour. And yes, fibers first and last.

here's pics of the arrows. first completely loosen cable at the handle bar lever. Push the actuator lever to the right with your finger, the arrows should line up.

Like i said it is exact same even without a clutch cable hooked up.

It's the adjuster on the pressure plate that probably needs to be loosened

so then you did adjust the pressure plate correctly before putting the side cover back on and filling with fluids?

Crap!!! Thats what i didn't do... Is there a specific torque i should set on this bolt? That makes a lot of sense how it has been riding...

 first completely loosen cable at the handle bar lever. Push the actuator lever to the right with your finger, the arrows should line up.

^^ You can test it first, before tearing it apart ^^

But if it doesn't, loosen the lock nut, turn the phillips screw while holding the lever to the right and stop adjusting when the arrows line up, lock down the nut, double check, done.

if he was able to get play in the handle. The adjuster cant be to tight.
