SCOTT PRESSLEY Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 tHE ONLY ADJUSTMENT YOU HAVE IS ON THE TOR IT SELF. TAKE YOUR SEAT OFF LOOK DOWN AT THEM SEE THE SCREW SLOT LOOKING BACK AT YOU,THAT IS IT.YOU HAVE TO GET THEM ADJUSTED THE SAME OR YOU GOT NOTHING LIKE YOU HAVE NOW.I RAN THEM FOR A YEAR TOOK THEM OFF AND SHOULD OF HAD MY ASS KICKED FOR NOT DOING IT AS SOON AS I GOT THE SHEE.TATS DESCRIBED THEM AS ANCHORS GOOD COMPARISON.TAKE YOUR TIME ADJUSTING THEM MAKE SURE TO GET THEM THE SAME. SCOTT PRESSLEY Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 The little black box under front left side of gas tank, parken brake and the wire on your throttle unhook it all, if still hooked up.Did you get a kit to install the adjusting screws into your carbs,if not you will need to do this. revaholic Posted November 14, 2003 Author Report Posted November 14, 2003 yep,I got the kit. What do you need to do with the parking brake? Quote
SCOTT PRESSLEY Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 The clutch lever has your parking brake on it ,the wires that come from it take lose. But if you want to remove it you will need a brake blockoff plate for your rear caliper . Quote
boonman Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 Once you disconnect the black box under the tank, that disables the system without you having to mess with any of the other switches. On the problem that you are having, did you put the carb slides back into the correct carb? The cutout should be facing the air cleaner. it is possible to reverse the slides if you happen to put the left slide in the right carb. Quote
