Ok so my buddy has a Kfx 450 an we was riding this weekend about an acre of land an he was gettin me on the jump an I couldn't pull but I know if I get in 5th an 6th il pull. But how can I get him lol he's got his head all pumped up I got fmf power core 2 open k&n when I bought it the guy said it was jetted but I'm not sure what size

Thanks much appreciation an everything seems to run great no popping an power bands pull like crazy it's a 2000 an has original front tires so I assume the internals are all stock as far as I believe

You have A arms, I believe they used A arms from 1991 and up. I have an 87 with J arms, when I bought it I didn't know the difference.

 

J arms are great for drag bikes

I was jus referring the front tire of how much it's been rode( not much) but the ambush tires hook great I went to slide side ways an it hooked got up on one wheel bout though me off an I'm so nervous bout messin with my carbs cause how we'll it does run starts first 2 kick everytime

you need to get the right tool or puller to take off the flywheel a 3 jaw puller is no good.... are you launching in 2nd or 1st ? moving your weight back will help if your spinning

 

shifting means a big part as well you need to find the sweet spot where the bike shifts as well meaning some bikes will shift while never lifting off the throttle some wont experiment some and practice you can only get faster with practice.

 

once you start fighting a wheelie at your launches you know your getting closer then start moving forward a little more etc. or launch harder. practice makes perfect. btw I suck at drag racing I need to practice everytime I do it :(

Yeah I'm starting in second rev bout 1/4 of the way I drop the clutch as fast as possible letting out much as possible without goin 12 o clock when I shift I'm wide open if any letting up a little when I shift
