yes, stock head resurfaced.. it was damaged from the top end letting go last year

And a 4 mil crank? Those 2 throw up a red flag. I only know I one company re chambering stock heads to work with a 4 mil.

Do you have a spacer plate? What's your compression?

I do have a spacer, I do not know the compression off the top of my head

You may want to spend your money on a cool head & domes instead of that radiator.

You really need to find out what you have. If the head was re chambered you wouldn't need a spacer plate. If it was ported properly for the 4 mil your port timings are all out of whack with the spacer plate. If this guy is as good as you say I'd ask him what is going on.

If the head was decked you compression can be to high and be detonation.
