Got a brand new one last week in a bind while in pismo and by the end of the day it had a tooth missin. Young Guns Racing Posted February 25, 2014 Report Share Posted February 25, 2014 Renthal sprockets work ok but not worth the money. Steel sprockets in general will last much longer than aluminum. Alignment issues could be a problem there - but if you used a master link that is not the same pitch as the chain...thats not good. Get a new chain with the correct link and be done with it.
