bansheelover Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 i bought my 2001 with a stock motor, I added toomey tr-6 pipes and jetted it to specification ( i think its a 280 main, clip on 4th or 5th groove , im not sure) anyways now if i get into tight corners or turning around, my banshee bogs like crazy, and almost dies. I was wondering if a set of v-force reeds would cure this porblem Somebody please help!!! Matt Quote

Cut the last 1.5" off the end of the lid right behind the clips so you still have all four clips. That should help out a lot. Also adjust the air screws. You might have to go on the mains when you mod the lid. Quote
bansheelover Posted November 11, 2003 Author Report Posted November 11, 2003 ya when i added the pipes i took the snorkel off and put 12 1" holes in the airbox. I think that it should be getting enough air as it is. I beleive my air screw is 1 1/2 turns out. Should i go more?? Quote

You have to try different settings on the air screws. Can't tell you where, every shee in every area is different.... Start at .5 turn out from seated and ride it, then try 1 turn out, then 1.5, 2, and 2.5. Let me know what the best setting is. Quote
