With white you cant see half of the damage done and looks to come out great. You do it to black it shows everything. If you get a real automotive buffer. I can see that working best. OutlawPat Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 When I got mine the plastic was all oxidized. I used a little trick I learned from playin around with old Yamaha threewheelers. Just take a razor blade and scrape it on the plastic. But don't put too much pressure on. Once you scrape enough it'll look brand new. It takes a while but it works amazing. The rear fenders of mine were very dirty, I wet the fenders and put Comet powder on it (you can get it at the dollar store) and rubbed it in with an SOS pad and they look beautiful. And it got a lot of dirt out of the scratches in the plastic. Quote
