02Bansheeee Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 I just rebuilt a 99 Shee' and I see that it is leaking a little coolant around the head, I used a Vito's racing gasket. There is a somewhat stripped stud (#5) that had some leaking but I see coolant all around the front of the head. Is this usual to see a little coolant around the head??? Quote
Surfrjag Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 not usual. if it is leaking you likely have to replace the head gasket and fix the stud. lap all surfaces, inspect for imperfections and try again Quote
